The AC Lady Jets 8th grade team brought home some more hardware this past Saturday winning the Jay County Tournament. The Jets defeated Bluffton 25-10, 25-16; Jay County 25-17, 25-20; and South Adams 25-7, 25-10. The Lady Jets are still undefeated at 23-0. Leaders for the Jets were Slone Schortgen with 20 assists, 22 kills, 10 aces, 1 block and 11 digs. Brielle Grover racked up 23 assists, 1 kill, 7 aces and 2 digs. Jentrie Schaefer posted 1 assist, 12 kills, 4 aces, 3 blocks and 3 digs. Claira Foreman had 8 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks and 3 digs. Kelsey Beaver had 4 assists, 4 aces and 12 digs. Alivia Gilbert had 6 kills and 4 aces. Hallie Schaefer had 2 kills and 7 aces. Meg Hildebrand had 4 aces and 8 digs. Kenli Landis had 5 aces and 5 digs. Macie Fisher had 6 kills and 2 digs. Kate Muhlenkamp had 2 aces and Allison Gilbert had 2 assists and 3 digs. The Lady Jets face a tough Blackhawk Christian team Tuesday, 7th grade starting at 5pm.
