The 8th grade Lady Jets volleyball team rolled through the Norwell Tourney this weekend, not dropping a single set. They are no 9-0 on the season. They beat East Noble, 25-17, 25-20, Blackhawk Christian 25-18, 25-21 and St. Joe in the championship 25-20, 25-23. Slone Schortgen racked up 27 assists, 32 kills, 25 digs and 4 aces. Jentrie Schaefer had 23 kills, 6 aces, 4 block and 4 digs. Kelsey Beaver posted 25 digs, 6 assists, 3 kills and 1 ace. Brielle Grover had 24 assists, 7 digs and 4 aces. Claira Foreman had 10 kills, 4 blocks. 3 digs, and 2 aces. Kenli Landis had 11 digs. Alivia Gilbert had 3 kills, 2 digs, and 1 ace. Meg Hildebrand had 8 digs and 1 ace. Hallie Schaefer had 2 kills, 2 digs and 1 assist. Allison Gilbert had 3 assists and 3 digs and Kate Muhlenkamp had 1 dig. The Lady Jets will have St. Joe tonight for the 3rd time already this season.
