IHSAA BOYS' TRACK & FIELD SECTIONAL Thursday, May 22, at 5:30pm Admission: $7.00 for all - https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=125268 Gates open at 3:30pm / spectators will be allowed entry at 4:45pm Order of Events: 5:30pm - Field Events begin - discus, long jump, high jump and pole vault 6:00pm - 4x800m Relay 6:15pm - TRIALS - 100m Dash, 100m Hurdles and 200m Dash All Finals in the running events will start twenty (20) minutes after the completion of the 200m Dash Trials. There will be a break in between each event so awards may be presented to athletes immediately after their running event. Field Event awards will be handed out during the 3200m Run if completed by this event. 100m Hurdle Finals 100m Dash Finals 1600m Run Finals 4x100m Relay Finals 400m Dash Finals 300m Hurdle Finals 800m Run Finals 200m Dash Finals 3200m Run Finals 4x400m Relay Finals RUNNING EVENTS - 100M Dash - 100m High Hurdles - 200m Dash Trials: The number of the athletes entered in the meet will determine the number of heats. If there are two (2) heats, the top two (2) finishers in each heat plus the next four (4) fastest times will qualify for the final. If there are three (30 heats, the top two (2) finishes in each heat plus the next two (2) fastest times will qualify for the final. FINALS: All places will be determined by finishing order. The two eight (8) places will receive awards. ADVANCEMENT: The first three (3) places in all individual events and relays plus any individual or relay team meeting the 3 Participant Standard in the sectional finals of their event will advance to the Carroll Regional. An individual or relay team shall not advance to the regional from the sectional finals unless the time is recorded by fully automated timing (F.A.T.) The remaining four (4) spots for Regionals will be determined by the next best four (4) performances out of the four (4) Sectionals that feed into the Carroll Regional. Carroll will contact the schools of those athletes that place into those four (4) spots.
