Jets Take Second in Tri-Meet; Johnson Earns Medalist Honors

The Adams Central Varsity golf team hosted a three-way matchup Thursday evening at Wabash Valley Golf Club, squaring off against Bellmont and South Adams. In a competitive round on their home course, the Jets finished second overall with a team score of 183, falling just behind Bellmont, who claimed the win with a 167. South Adams rounded out the event with a 189. Drew Johnson continued his standout season by shooting a sharp 38, earning medalist honors as the top individual in the field. He was followed by Mavrick Becher, who added a 45. Brody Isch and Trace Maller each turned in rounds of 50, while Jaret Smith contributed a 52 to complete the Jets' scoring lineup. The Jets will look to regroup and build on the performance as they enter the final weeks of regular-season play with the postseason on the horizon.
