On a picture perfect evening at Wabash Valley, the Adams Central Jets Boys Varsity Golf Team clinched a decisive victory over conference rivals the Heritage Patriots with a score of 173-181. Leading the charge for the Jets was Drew Johnson, who delivered an outstanding performance by shooting a 38, tying the school record and earning the title of match medalist. The low scores continued as the Adams Central Jets JV team also triumphed over the Patriots JV, posting a score of 192-199. Cam Smith spearheaded the JV squad with a score of 44. The match was particularly notable as six Jets golfers—Drew Johnson, Cam Smith, Max Hamilton, Zane Bard, Owen Connelly, and Quentin Taylor—achieved personal bests. Adding to the celebratory atmosphere was the recognition of Senior Night, honoring the high school careers of eight graduating seniors: Keaton Bush, Avery Biberstine, Micah McClure, Jayden Sharpe, Max Hamilton, Zane Bard, Cam Smith, and Owen Connelley. The event was a fitting tribute to their contributions to the team over their high school careers, marking a poignant moment of transition and reflection. This group of seniors has left a lasting impact on the program, setting high standards for both leadership and athletic achievement. The Jets Golf Team are back in action Saturday, May 4, with the Bi-County Invitational which will be played on AC's home course of Wabash Valley Golf Club.
